Bikram Yoga – the original Hot Yoga – consists of 26 perfectly aligned Hatha Yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises.
The postures are very specific, in a set sequence. Each yoga posture prepares your body for the next exercise, and thus the series come together into a perfect, complete system.
Much like the alphabet, it cannot be changed, or the series simply does not work.
40° degrees / 40% humidity
This extreme temperature makes it easier for you to work with your body – like fire helps to work with iron.
It helps to avoid micro-tears in the muscles, to get more flexibility and to be able to go deeper in the exercises.
Humidity effectively increases the efficiency of temperature.
